Welcome to all mothers and fathers who have decided (or are contemplating) to go with cloth diaper (used in North America) or cloth nappy (used in United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and other Commonwealth countries)

How many cloth diapers do I need?

For making the laundry every second day:

- for newborn cloth diapers, you will need around two dozen (24) nappies as your newborn baby will use about 10 diapers a day.

- If you start later, when your baby has reached around 15lb, 18 cloth diapers may be sufficient for two days.

What are the different types of cloth diapers?

They are categorized as: Flats, Prefolds, Fitted, Pocket, All-in-One (AIO)

What are the types of fibers?

There are different fibers that nappy cloth diapers are made of:

Cotton, Bamboo, Hemp and Polyester

What are sizes do I need?

Of course like any clothing there are different sizes:

One size type: good for newborns (7-8 pounds) until it the age when none are required (about 35 lbs)

Multi-sized type: these diapers are made in different sizes: small, medium, large. Depending on your child’s age and/or weight.
